Get planted in a neighbourhood. Churches can make a conscious effort to help their people discover the importance of growing a neighbourhood.Cultivate life in the local community. Connect with others. Use any means available - local sports, schools, clubs, coffee shops, businesses, immediate neighbours, community leagues, you name it.
Grow roots. Change some habits to begin, 'inhabiting' your neighbourhood. Alter your shopping schedule. Go for walks. Pray while you're walking. Wave & smile at others. Think long-term.
Connect to others doing similar things in other places in your city, province, state, or country.
